Christine Tan:

Let's talk more to his Founder and Chairman and CEO of Appotronics Corporation LI YI joins us now on the line from Shenzhen.

Sir, thank you so much for being with us. Can you give us some guidance as to where you see revenue and profits in the third quarter in the coming quarter?

LI YI:

Yeah. So we continue to see the profit we are keeping up and the revenue due to the slow recovery after COVID-19, so the revenue probably will be remained as the same for the next two quarters or a little bit declined

Christine Tan:

You made, you're actually a supplier and correct me if I'm wrong. You're a supplier of the vehicle display panels China's best-selling auto manufacturer Byd. How is that business coming along? And have you managed to expand your business in the auto sector even further? Give us an idea.

LI YI

Yes, we actually are technology companies so we started with the display and we started with the consumer electronics sector like we're providing key components to TV companies. We also provide components to cinemas and because we are technology companies so, we extend our application to other areas like auto so now we're working with this new energy car maker like Byd and all others.

So we're making the components to enable some new applications for example like in the car, you can project the image to the roof so at the night, you can actually, watch a movie on the glasses.

Also, we actually making the rollable screen like a BMW has this OLED screen foldable so we are making the rollable screen much bigger so you people actually can watch a movie during the motion and that because simply as a technology company, you can enable another new application so not only in the inside the car room display we also try to extend to the outside like we can project the image on the load like this like I think this is the beauty of the technology innovation. You can always come up with something new.

And as a first mover, we don't need to follow the others, so we can create something. So this is a wonderful experience

Christine Tan:

So you got cars, you got cinemas, you got projectors, any other new revenue streams you're you're getting into, You are looking at to get into?

LI YI:

The auto currently is the main I think future revenue for us and we actually actively working with multiple customers, not only domestic, we're working with the car makers the leading car makers in Europe and we are very actively talking to the potential customer in North America and those I think that will generate a last significant revenue increase for us in the next two or three years and meanwhile as a technology company so we will keep our eye open and see if there's any potential other opportunity for us for instance like a medical instrument. We are seriously see if we can apply our technology to enhance people's lifestyle.

Christine Tan:

It's a very competitive space, Mr. LI, you've got fierce competition because as a display maker you've got competition coming not just from China but from Japan as well from Taiwan even South Korea's LG Display. How do you compete? What is your edge? how do you differentiate yourself?

LI YI:

We are as I said earlier, we are a technology company We are the pioneer the original inventor of laser phosphor projection display. So, for us we just simply focus on innovation just trying to keep you know add more and more new stuff out of our lab and by doing that so, we are actually competing against ourselves. I know there's so many display players but if you look at the space most people are very crowded, they are doing very much the same thing so for us it's like you know we're doing this first with the BMW at the CES, We turn the side window into a display so people can see the avatar on the side window so we're doing other things as like at the first of the kind so that's the way how can we face the challenge and competition from all along the world.

Christine Tan:

Mr. LI, can you tell us I'm your technology company. You are right. What is the next big technology breakthrough, that is going to hit the laser display sector? What are you working on? What are you secretly working on, that is going to be the next big thing that hits the market?

LI YI:

Well, we are trying to make things as small as possible so we can even put into the things into a smaller cell phone we can put the things into like glasses so people really can use the display anything anywhere anytime.
